PRESSURE

Posted: July 29, 2013 in Uncategorized

Your top priority is your relationship with God and He is the one from whom you seek approval, the only real pressure that will affect you will come from Him through the Holy-spirit. By following Him you wont find yourself in compromising situations and even if you do, HE will provide a way out!.
One of the first things the Holyspirit made me understand just after i became a christian as a teenager was “You will be seen by the eyes of millions, but you must perform for an audience of ONE”. God is my ONE audience. When u r focused on God and what he thinks about you,it wont matter what kinda pressure others try to put on you!…
Remember what’s right is not always popular!..

JOURNEY TO SELF

JOURNEY TO SELF

Your life will definitely tell a story! Friends, write a good one. Apostle Paul took one that tagged him a black sheep and also led him to encounter Christ on his way to Damascus, so you see some decisions will most definitely give you the “black sheep” tag, take them anyway! Life as we all know is a journey (journey to self) that’s finding out who you are, talking about ‘self’, who am I? & what’s my definition? These questions really take me endless hours to answer because am a complex being embedded in a simple compartment, eager 2 explore these complexities but then I dont even understand this complex nature of mine and I am sure there are a lot of people who don’t too.
When I decide 2 take a risk, fear draws me back and when I eventually do take a risk successfully pride brings me down, Even when I successfully take a risk without fear and pride, I move on to take further risky decisions but without prior notice the inevitable *death* comes. For the few years I have journeyed to self, I have discovered that this journey is endless, even after death the complexities I’ve been able to explore, the good &evil it has contributed all lives after me. The person I’ve discovered to be me lives on after me in one way or the other. For those who have gone before me, I realized there are so many things that I discovered about them that they never found out about themselves & they probably would have never.
Journey to self! The only journey that never ends. It goes on & on even when we go back to our creator. How has your journey to self been so far? Take time to examine your life, as SOCRATES said- ‘the unexamined life is not worth living’
Friends check your ‘self”. Like a horse can be forced to the riverbank but can’t be forced to drink water, you are the most important change agent of yourself. Everything you are today, every character, habit ,failure and success that you are made up of today is a collection of all your choices, actions and reactions.
Stop living on people’s definition of U! stop living on circumstances, conditions, situations and past definition of your ‘self’.
Never be bullied into silence.  Never allow yourself to be made a victim.  Accept no one’s definition of your life; define yourself.  ~Harvey Fierstein.

CHOICES

Posted: July 28, 2013 in Uncategorized

YOUR CHOICE!!!
Life is basically about choices..Christ died to save all..but not all choose to be saved.
The HolySpirit has been poured upon all flesh..but not all flesh chose to receive
Now your mind is where the battle of choice takes place..whatever dominates your mind, rules your life!!
The thing is consciously or unconsciously you live your life by the rules your mind dictates…
The book of wisdom says in Rom12:2(AMP) Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
It all starts and ends in d mind!!
Now the question is…what DOMINATES ur mind??…of course there are lots of things in ur mind!! But there is a particular thing (or some particular things) that dominates it… Could it be a girl,a guy, sex, porn, masturbation, malice, envy, procastination, any form of sexual immorality, disobedience, fear, partying, to mention a few! We know all these things!
Look @ these again..a lot of bible believing christian knows ROM12:2..but just few choose to do what it says!

The book of wisdom says ps106:43..many times he delivered them, but they were bent on rebellion so they wasted away in their sin!!!…

“God can do a lot of things for you..but He can’t CHOOSE for you!”..

Take time to analyse these guys
To avoid being a victim of their lies
Their fake feelings they advertise
But your memory in their brain is not up to 8bytes
Like flies they perch on any available girl that catches their eyes
They pretend to have come to socialize
But as time goes on, they begin to act otherwise
Your fragile heart they brutalize
They play you amongst theirselves like a dice
They say it’s normal to exhibit such vice
But to be precise
Babes be wise!!
Because this guys aint really nice…
…….No be true I talk……. For as many guys reading this I know what’s going through your mind… So lemmie make it clear…. Babes could also act the same way…n not all guys are like that… but then babes must still beware!!!

Are You Angry With God? By the GODLIFE

Scripture: “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” (Romans 8:28).

Why do bad things happen to good people? Why is there so much injustice in the world?

Life Is Unfair

Sin in our world makes it difficult to understand the world as God wants it to be. Bad things happen to “good people,” and “good people” sometimes let – or even make – bad things happen. “Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard” (Romans 3:23). It is so easy to want to sin. Why is life not easier? You might wonder, Why would God make a world where horrible things can happen? You might even be furious with Him. But injustice exists because of sin; God created people “for [His] glory” (Isaiah 43:10).

God Is Just

The Lord said, “I love justice” (Isaiah 61:8), but He hates sin. We cannot hope to understand Him nor our place in the world if we cannot understand that He is righteous, holy, and loving. Bad things happen; however “God does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent” (2 Peter 3:9). The Creator’s “purpose was for the nations to seek after God” (Acts 17:27). After sin entered the world, He revealed part of His plan, teaching us to obey: “[The Law] was given alongside the promise to show people their sins” (Galatians 3:19). People could not be justified by the Law alone, but by faith: the Law “protected us until we could be made right with God through faith” (Galatians 3:24).

Trust in Him, Not the World

God sent us Jesus to restore the balance between justice and love. The unfair death of righteous Jesus Christ paid the penalty for the sins of us unrighteous people. “God will also count us as righteous if we believe in Him, the One Who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead” (Romans 4:24). That is why we trust in the Lord as our Saviour — He paid the price; we accept that gift in faith. The world tells us that we should be angry with a Creator Who allows bad things to happen, but God gave everything (in the death of His Son, Jesus) to show us His love and justice.

The Bible tells us that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). But in reality, we see that even people we call “good people”, based on our human standards, can have bad things happen to them:

•A tragic accident.
•The sudden loss of a great job.
•Theft
•Unexpected/unfair death.
•Betrayal in a relationship.

The list could go on!

These are tough situations for anyone to go through. Some of us become angry with God for allowing bad things to happen. We feel let down by God. This feeling is real, and even fully committed followers of Jesus carry these burdens.

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, understands. Before He was falsely accused, condemned, tortured and died on the cross to pay for our sin, He prayed three times that this cup would be taken from Him. (Matthew 26:36-44). Even on the cross, Jesus felt the Father had forsaken Him. My Friend, something like this may have happened in your life. You may angry with God or blame Him for what happened. NOW is the time to turn to God and know that He has not forsaken you. I encourage you to stand by faith on God’s promise of causing all these things to work for your good (Romans 8:28).

Your feelings against God bring separation from Him. They hinder you from following God’s path for your life, and living more lid Jesus did. Repent, dear One, and ask forgiveness. And pray that everyone who hears this message ask God to turn their hearts to Him.

Your PRAY NOW Challenge: “Lord, You know how angry, disappointed, or bitter I am because I feel You allowed those bad things to happen in my life. (name them to God). I repent from blaming You and accept Your promise that You work ALL things for the good of those who love You. I declare my love for You. In Jesus name I pray, Amen”
